Agents who do significant business with first home buyers can now connect with their target market through a new website.

First Home Buyers Australia (FHBA) has been created to guide new buyers through their entire property journey, from saving a deposit through to settlement.

The new website has created an online marketplace where businesses offering services applicable to first home buyers can promote their services.

Co-founder Taj Singh said FHBA has designed a lead generation tool for agents who want to reach new buyers in better, more efficient way.

Consumers, who can register for free, are able to nominate their property search criteria, and can also tick a box asking to be contacted by partner agents who have relevant properties.

“We see it has the potential to help agents making property transactions faster. Agents can register now on our website if they are interested in these leads,” he said.

Mr Singh said first home buyers are a unique audience, with Australian Bureau of Statistics data revealing that there were more than 100,000 first home buyers in the last financial year.

Daniel Cohen, FHBA’s other co-founder, said first home buyers have different requirements to more experienced buyers and require special assistance.

“Until today, no end-to-end solution providing specific assistance through the entire journey has been available to first home buyers,” he said.

FHBA has formed partnerships with mortgage businesses Real Home Loans and eChoice, as well as conveyancing firm Lawlab and comparison website Mozo.
