Selling property not just securing a buyer

The sale of a property isn’t the only victory real estate agents should celebrate day-to-day, Domain is reminding the industry.

The real estate platform has reiterated the message of real estate being “more than listings” as part of its broader spring campaign.

On the consumer side of things, Domain’s “See the possibilities” spring campaign invites Australians to look at some of the factors that might prompt a move.

For real estate agents, the focus is on sharing in the “multiple wins along the way” and maximising every step in the journey.

Whether it be improving efficiency, accessing business support, reaching a highly motivated audience of property seekers or crafting an astute marketing campaign, Domain has said that all of these steps “culminate with that transaction” and, in turn, securing the next listing.

For Tony Blamey, Domain group director – commercial, it’s a journey the platform aims to be a part of — adding value to agents at all stages of the property lifecycle.

This value includes through the provision of data-driven insights for vendor pipelines, targeted data to find in on buyers and transact properties, and the development of tools to create better business efficiency.

“We aim to assist agents to find new listings, win new listings, transact listings quickly and run an efficient business, and differentiate their brand,” he commented.

One such way Domain is achieving this is through Domain’s integration with Nine’s print and digital channels — in particular, the latest season of The Block.

The director considers the partnership an ideal way to showcase to viewers some of the unique tools available through Domain to provide vendors and buyers with the ability to optimise their property journey.

“We are really excited about The Block this year, and confident it will be the best year ever,” Mr Blamey said.
