A new leading software company has developed a new platform that allows PMs to complete their condition reports more efficiently and quickly, saving money at the same time.

The new Paperless Condition Reports offering by Inspection Express allows PMs to send their condition reports along with images electronically.

Head of business development Kelly Dickens said that the benefits are significant.

“It eliminates the use of paper where we have seen offices spend from $4 to $26 per condition report, and two copies are required,” Ms Dickens said.

“Paperless Condition Reports will send out automatic follow-ups for PM so they can hit send and let the system work for them.”

Ms Dickens said that the tenant is also able to complete, sign and return the report electronically.

She added that the feedback to the tech platform has been positive.

“It helps to get condition reports returned faster, and automates the whole process of following up.”

Ms Dickens said that the new platform is the last step to making a real estate office paperless.

“PMs can use various signing software tools for lease and sales agreements, but these tools were never compatible with large file sizes and different field templates,” Ms Dickens said.

She also said that the platform will promote better reporting as it provides a history of actions taken by both the property manager and the tenant.

The feature provides for a more efficient way for time-poor PMs to work, the head of business development said.
