Coronis has named the acting state director who will lead the group’s Victorian arm through this “transitional period”.

Craig Gillies will take on the role of acting Victorian state director for Coronis while the network searches for a new permanent leader to fill the role vacated by former director Adam Flynn.

Gillies is currently the network’s director of growth, and expressed confidence in his ability to lead the Victorian branch of Coronis during this tumultuous time.

“I am excited to take on the role of acting state director at such a pivotal time for Coronis Victoria,” Gillies said. “I look forward to leading our talented team as we continue to deliver exceptional service to our clients.”

With over three decades of experience at Coronis, 20 years of which have been in directorial roles, Gillies stated he “[cut] his teeth” in the Queensland property market.

He now plans to focus on improving the performance of the brand’s Victorian agencies, with Coronis expressing that “the Victorian offices will no doubt see a great trajectory of growth and excellence while he is at the helm”.

Gillies will place particular emphasis on supporting both clients and Coronis’ own team members.

Coronis stated that the decision to appoint Gillies as acting state director is part of the group’s “ongoing effort to ensure all Coronis agencies across the nation are market-leading and profitable, as well as partnering with the right people as they continue to open new franchise agencies in line with the five-year expansion goals”.

Meanwhile, the search will continue for a new Victorian state manager.

“We are eager to find a dynamic individual to join us as the new state director, someone who will lead our expansion and help us achieve new heights of success,” said Gillies.

Once chosen, the new state director will be “responsible for spearheading franchise growth, enhancing operational efficiency, and maintaining the high standards of service that our clients have to expect”, according to Coronis.

On an individual level, Coronis stated that their ideal candidate will be “not only adept in the real estate industry but also possess strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for innovation” combined with a “deep understanding of the Victorian real estate market and the ability to drive growth while fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence”.
