Commercial property services firm McGees Property has launched a new Advisory division to expand the firm’s strategic real estate capabilities.
McGees Property has appointed Rachel Elliott to lead its new Advisory division, who brings more than 30 years of experience in the South Australian market to the firm.
She previously served as a director at M3 Property and as the chief valuer at Land Services SA. Elliott is also an active member of several industry association boards and committees.
Currently, Elliott is an executive council member at UDIA SA, and a deputy board chair at Believe Housing Australia.
Managing partner at McGees, Simon Lambert, said that Elliott’s experience would be valuable to the firm and to the new Advisory division.
“As a firm, we identified an ongoing need for professional real estate consultancy and advisory services in the marketplace,” he said.
“However, we were conscious that we needed to ensure we sourced the right person or the role, with the unique set of specialised skills.”
Lambert said Elliott’s expertise and valuation background will give her the edge in providing both real estate strategy and problem-solving.
Elliott said that joining McGees felt like the “right next step” for her, and she was keen to be involved in the launch of a fresh service for Adelaide.
“It’s a unique opportunity to bring together everything I’ve learnt in business, property, and valuation to help clients with tailored, practical advice.”
“What makes this truly powerful is being able to tap into the deep experience of the wider McGees team – we’ve got a lot to offer,” she concluded.
