Harcourts has expanded its South Australian presence with a new Adelaide City office, with an international team to service the city’s multicultural community.
Harcourts Adelaide City has opened its doors under principal Simon Hou, who brings over 20 years of experience to the industry, having first stepped foot in it in 2005.
Transitioning from a career in the medical field, he founded DG Real Estate in 2009, the first Chinese-owned real estate agency in Adelaide.
Harcourts said Hou was a pioneer and innovator, particularly for the South Australian Chinese community.
“His approachability and community spirit make him a respected figure not just professionally, but personally as well,” the network said.
The new Adelaide City office team also includes members hailing from Australia, China, Hong Kong SAR, Taiwan, and India.
Harcourts said the Adelaide City office sets itself apart as an expert in apartment sales and property management in the CBD.
“Over the past 16 years, Simon and his team have built an impressive track record, managing a significant portfolio of city apartments and delivering exceptional outcomes for numerous apartment projects,” Harcourts said.
Additionally, Hou said that the team’s expertise spanned apartment living, building operations, and strata management.
“This expertise uniquely positions us to offer unparalleled service and insights to our clients.”
He said that by joining Harcourts, he and the team would refine their business strategies and achieve sustainable success within a volatile market landscape.
“With Harcourts’ proven systems, leadership support, and extensive network, we are confident in our ability to excel in Adelaide’s competitive real estate market,” he said.
CEO of Harcourts South Australia, Heather Edwards, said Hou’s expertise, track record, and dedication greatly benefited the Harcourts brand for the community.
“His ability to build trusting relationships, both locally and internationally, aligns perfectly with Harcourts’ vision of delivering exceptional service and results,” she concluded.
