Andrea Clarke isn’t here to predict the future, she’s here to empower you to shape it.
In a world of constant change, adaptability isn’t just a buzzword, it’s a survival skill, and Andrea Clarke is not just talking about it, she’s practically written the playbook.
With Ready25 now just a few weeks away, Andrea has shared some of what attendees can expect from her session on the day.
As a former television news reporter and Washington D.C. correspondent, Andrea covered major news events across the US before working on humanitarian aid programs to rebuild Iraq and Afghanistan.
“War zones taught me to scan for early clues, decide with 80 percent of the facts, and move—because momentum beats perfection every time,” says Andrea.
At Ready25, she’ll share a three-step playbook to spot weak signals sooner, test ideas faster, and let go earlier.
“Strategy has an expiry date measured in months; the real flex is how fast [you] can unlearn yesterday and prototype tomorrow.”
Andrea knows what it takes to truly thrive in the face of uncertainty.
In 2012 Andrea founded FutureFit Learning, a global initiative to support and inspire people to stay ‘future fit’ throughout their careers.
In 2019 this formed her first book, Future Fit: How to Stay Relevant and Competitive in the Future of Work, which won Australian Business Book of the Year.
Her latest book, Adapt, is out now.
At Ready25 she’ll challenge how we think about leadership, careers, and personal growth, and will be one of 25 speakers across multiple stages throughout the day.
The event will feature an expansive neighbourhood, including a photo lab, town square, arcade, corner store, and will be capped off with an epic party featuring Australian Electronic Icons, The Presets.

“Trade certainty for curiosity: treat every project as a fresh field assignment, ask the naïve question first, and stay allergic to your own comfort zone,” urges Andrea.
Whether you’re leading a team, changing careers, or simply trying to keep up, this keynote at Ready25 will give you the mindset shift needed to move from reacting to change… to shaping it.

Andrea will join a range of speakers at Ready25 on 21 August at Sydney’s Royal Randwick, including The Greatest Gymnast of All Time Simone Biles, Award-Winning Writer & Storyteller Johann Hari, Athlete and Charity Fundraiser Nedd Brockmann and many more.
