Melbourne Sotheby’s International Realty bolsters Bayside team with new trio 

Melbourne Sotheby’s International Realty CEO and managing director of projects, Mitch Armstrong, said the appointees each brought different qualities to the Bayside team.

“May’s experience and international outlook, Damien’s discipline and drive, and Jade’s energy and connection to the Bayside community all speak to the kind of people we want representing our brand in this market,” he said.

Local agent May Wang has joined the business in a senior sales role, bringing more than a decade of experience across high-end residential sales, premium off-market transactions, and boutique project campaigns.

Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese, Wang will bring established relationships across Melbourne’s inner-city and Bayside markets, as well as a strong connection to local and international buyers.

Former professional basketball player Damien Ryan will join the network as a senior property advisor after completing a Bachelor of Property and Real Estate.

He will draw on his business development skills, following his recent role as national relationship manager at Diamond Sports.

Meanwhile, emerging property professional Jade DeClase has been appointed sales associate, bringing a background in customer service and administration, and a connection to the Bayside area.

According to the network, the appointments will add further depth to the Bayside hub, as the business expands across Melbourne’s premium residential market.

Bayside directors, Victoria Gregory and Andrew Campbell, said the new appointments were about finding people who understand the market and care about doing right by clients.

“We’re looking forward to them being part of what we’re building here in Bayside,” they said.
