Every rental property listed with Ray White Surfers Paradise will now feature a virtual tour as part of the franchise’s property management offerings, thanks to its latest tech tie-up.

Virtual tour provider Little Hinges announced that it has partnered with the Gold Coast-based franchise, as the Ray White outfit looks to set itself and its rent roll apart from competitors in the region.

Ray White Surfers Paradise head of property management Amber Roberts said that integrating proptech tools in their offerings has always been on their radar.

“Working with Little Hinges allows us to level up our listings and set ourselves apart as property managers who are doing things differently. We’ll be using Little Hinges virtual tours on every new property we take on,” she stated.

Aside from improving efficiencies for their property managers by reducing back-end tasks, she added that the tech collaboration would also give property managers the confidence boost knowing that “they are delivering the highest possible outcomes for landlords and tenants alike”.

She added that in the long run, the tech offering would also help foster stronger business ties. “Our property managers can spend more time building relationships, because that’s what they do best,” she stated.

Speaking on the partnership, Little Hinges chief executive and co-founder Josh Callaghan opined that the partnership would not only allow the franchise to distinguish itself from its industry peers in the highly competitive region but it would also benefit the property managers and landlords involved.

“Ray White Surfers Paradise will be better equipped to attract landlords and investors who value a property management partner who will protect their valuable assets,” Mr Callaghan commented.

Additionally, the tech executive said that the offering would eliminate the need for tenants to vacate the premises whenever there are prospective renters looking to get a first look at the property and will also provide access at any time of the day.

He added that property managers would also have a “highly accurate” representation of the property when it comes to creating entry and exit reports, streamlining the process.

“Trades can provide accurate quotes, PMs can answer landlord and tenant questions quickly, helping to streamline the tenant application process,” he added.

The latest partnership with the network’s franchise comes as another step towards Little Hinges’ push for industry-wide adoption of virtual reality property tours.

In July, the Brisbane-based firm unveiled it has rolled out a first-of-its-kind, live insights platform that will give access to real estate insights on all tours that were captured using Matterport virtual reality technology and were added to its database.
