Knight Frank has appointed a new director to its NSW office leasing team as demand surges ahead of the busy end-of-the-year period in the commercial market.

Alex Raymond has been appointed as Knight Frank’s director, office leasing, bringing nearly two decades of experience in commercial real estate.

Raymond will transition to the role from her position as national head of office leasing at Elanor Investors Group.

Her career background also includes seven years in office leasing at Dexus, as well as stints in other major commercial property agencies.

In the new position, Raymond will focus on partnering with clients to deliver leasing solutions in the Sydney CBD.

Raymond said she joined the network to combine her landlord and tenant-representative experience to deliver value through elevated leasing and investment outcomes.

Knight Frank partner, national head of leasing Andrea Roberts, said that Raymond will be an asset to the team, given her previous office leasing experience in the commercial property market.

Roberts said that Raymond’s skills and knowledge, including both the client and tenant sides of commercial property leasing, will enable a multifaceted approach to services.

“The last quarter of the year is a busy time for leasing, with deals to be finalised and clients preparing leasing strategies for the new year,” Roberts said.

“It’s an ideal time to have Alex join the team and set us up for success in 2026 and beyond, when we plan to expand the team further.”

The new appointment followed Knight Frank’s South Australian office leasing team appointing a new director, supporting its growth strategy amid rising confidence in Adelaide’s office market.
