After 23 years, the former operators of a Ray White Greater Springfield franchise have made the switch to a new banner.

Rudy and Alma Grommen have joined Harcourts Queensland in a move they labelled “an easy one”.

Mr Grommen said the duo “are profoundly honoured to officially open our new Harcourts offices in Augustine Heights and Redbank Plains so we can better service the rapidly growing Greater Springfield and Greater Ripley regions in South-East Queensland.”

Harcourts Greater Springfield - Augustine Heights, and Harcourts Redbank Plains - Great Ripley will be collectively known as the Harcourts Greater Springfield Group.

For Harcourts Queensland CEO, Mitch Peereboom, “it is exhilarating to welcome Rudy, Alma and their dynamic team to take us forward in these markets. Our group is very fortunate to be part of their ongoing journey and we are all energised for the future.”

He acknowledged the team behind Harcourts Greater Springfield Group as “established real estate professionals who have operated throughout this area for many years.

With the CEO also reflecting on the group’s ambitions to accelerate their growth, Mr Grommen shared that the area had experienced “some of the most rapid growth in the country” of late.

“We are confident this is only going to continue over the coming years,” he continued.

Mr Grommen also took the time to outline the intention behind the operation, stressing that real estate “should not be about us.”

“It’s about our city, it’s about values and most of all, about how we, as business owners, can assist our team to better serve our community.”

Reflecting on his family’s journey to date, he shared that “it is the values of determination and hard work that we as a family live by that has been the driving force for our successful real estate business.”

It makes sense then that the family operation would place a strong emphasis on culture, with the Grommens sharing that their focus is on building a team rather than focusing on individual agents.

For Mr Grommen, “It’s the team that makes the difference.”

“Real estate is not just about property; it is the business of people and relationships,” he concluded.

The latest announcement follows the news that Harcourts would be opening its third office in the Wide Bay region, with the launch of Harcourts Hervey Bay

The network has also recently revealed a new executive in the Sunshine State; Daryll Roberts was named as a performance coach and auctioneer in the Harcourts Queensland team
