The boutique real estate firm has continued its expansion in the NSW capital with the opening of its new central Sydney location.

Stone Waterloo is the latest in a long line of the network’s outposts throughout Sydney, including recent openings in Greenwich, Hawkesbury, and Crows Nest, and will be headed by an experienced team already known in the area, having spent the last year operating in the suburb independently.

Principal Sabrina Wang will be supported by a team of partners, including Jane Wang, Tonny Lin, Jun Wu, and Noah Xiong. Together, the quintuple possess decades of industry experience.

Ms Wang explained that initial meetings with Stone head of franchise Luke Cameron impressed the group with his direction, plans, and “understanding of the desire and passion of a potential network partner”, which ultimately factored into their decision to join the Stone network.

The office will service additional suburbs surrounding the central Sydney location; however, its primary focus will be Waterloo — primarily populated by young Australians. As a result, property sales over the last 12 months have been dominated by units, with 270 successful sales, as opposed to six house settlements during the same period.

During the last 12 months, the median unit price in Waterloo has climbed 2.8 per cent to $900,000, while collecting a yield of 4.1 per cent.

Ms Wang added: “We are incredibly excited about gaining access to a support network through the Stone family.

“We believe exponential growth is possible for us through working with the right people. We share the same ambition with Stone, which is bringing through the next generation of realtors with a mindset that embraces the latest technologies.”

Mr Cameron shared these sentiments, explaining: “When it comes to bringing new franchises into the Stone network, we are always looking for those who share our vision of building community while also embracing change.

“We can’t wait to see Stone Waterloo reach new heights in 2023 and beyond with the full support of the network behind them.”

In addition to the Waterloo office, Stone has added a number of key new locations to its network. This includes Queensland outfits in Logan, Warner, Southport, and Golden Beach, as well as additional locations through Victoria — such as its Whittlesea office.
