Ben Cannon has been revealed as bringing two lead agents with him in his alignment as a partner at Place One’s Bulimba office.

Mr Cannon comes to Place One Group from McGrath Bulimba, with Place Estate Agents sharing that Frank Lombardi and Jordan Trottemant join him in making the switch.

First becoming a licensed sales agent back in 2003, Place Estate Agents has lauded Mr Cannon as an “accomplished industry leader”, with the network’s managing director Paul Curtain expressing that the team is “thrilled to have Ben, Frank and Jordan join Place One Group”.

“Their expertise and industry knowledge will further elevate the success of the One Group with Ben joining the business as a partner, Mr Curtain continued.

The group also touted Mr Cannon’s community role as the founder of Voice for Victims, a movement that the new partner had started following a traumatic home invasion which saw himself and neighbours injured.

Driven by his own frustrations with the lack of victim support from the government and the youth justice system, Mr Cannon went on to launch an advocacy campaign, ultimately leading him to champion the cause of victim advocacy and community safety.

As a real estate agent, you stand in the fortunate position of being a public figure, whether you like it or not. You need to own the responsibility to help the community when it needs you,” Mr Cannon concluded.

The latest news out of Place comes after it announced “an innovative chapter of growth” in April of this year.

This sees the establishment of The One Group – or “one team in four locations” across Bulimba, Camp Hill, Cannon Hill and Carindale.

At the time, Mr Cannon said the venture complements the Place Estate Agents brand, and provides the business with the opportunity to “open incredible career pathways for those wanting a meaningful and successful career in real estate”, as well as allows their current team to provide better client service.
