Homely has launched Homely Connect, a new platform that streamlines the setup of essential services, eliminating the hassle of organising utilities during a move.

Through a partnership with connectnow, real estate platform Homely.com.au has launched Homely Connect, providing its users with a simplified, all-in-one solution for setting up utilities and services when moving home.

The new Homely Connect platform enables renters and home owners to set up electricity, gas, and internet without managing multiple providers, reducing the stress associated with moving home.

Available nationwide, it ensures all essential services are ready before move-in for a smooth, hassle-free experience.

Homely’s head of industry, revenue and partnerships, David Webb, said the partnership with connectnow aims to simplify the moving process for Australians nationwide.

The new partnership merges Homely’s property expertise with connectnow’s 23 years of experience and broad supplier network, which includes many of Australia’s leading energy, telecom, and home service providers.

“Moving is one of life’s most stressful experiences, and often, coordinating utility connections only adds to the burden,” Webb said.

“Homely Connect allows movers to arrange everything in one step, giving them more time to focus on settling into their new home.”

Head of Connectnow, Paul Hoefer, said the partnership makes it easy for Australians to move house.

“It is an exciting opportunity for connectnow to provide Homely’s users with a complete moving experience, by getting their home-moving needs sorted quickly and easily in one phone call,” Hoefer said.

In addition to utility connections, Homely Connect offers access to professional removalists, vehicle hire, and bottled gas supply, delivering a truly seamless moving experience.

The new partnership between Homely and connectnow follows Homely’s partnership with Gumtree last year, which allows free listings and expands agents’ reach.

Homely said the addition of connectnow as Homely Connect’s partner strengthens the platform’s offering, making it straightforward for Australians to move into their ideal home with confidence and ease.

This collaboration marks a step towards Homely.com.au’s goal of delivering a seamless, all-in-one moving experience for home owners and renters alike.
