An established LJ Hooker licensee will lead the network's newest East Gippsland location, further extending her agency’s reach, now rebranded as LJ Hooker Paynesville | Lakes Entrance | Metung.

Led by existing licensee Kaye Wyndham-Martin, the new East Gippsland office will serve the Lakes Entrance and Metung markets, building on her success with the nearby LJ Hooker Paynesville office.

Through this expansion, Wyndham-Martin will operate across the two separate locations of the newly rebranded agency, LJ Hooker Paynesville | Lakes Entrance | Metung.

Wyndham-Martin brings over four decades of experience in real estate, sales and business, and previously acquired a long-operating Paynesville agency that she converted into an LJ Hooker office.

Following increased regional migration and demand for coastal living in Victoria, Wyndham-Martin decided that the time was right to open another office that would service the burgeoning Lakes Entrance and Metung markets.

“We are seeing strong demand from a range of buyers, including retirees seeking a coastal lifestyle, young families drawn to the relaxed community feel, and Melbourne-based buyers looking for a weekend escape or future seachange, as well as investors,” Wyndham-Martin said.

Although the two areas are geographically close, the network said that the markets cater to a diverse range of buyers, with Lakes Entrance appealing to those who seek an “energetic, beachside lifestyle”, and Metung instead offering a more boutique and tranquil experience.

As a lifelong local of the East Gippsland area, Wyndham-Martin also brings an in-depth understanding of the region’s various markets, which she said would help the new office stand out within the competitive coastal market.

LJ Hooker Australia’s head of network, Chris Keating, congratulated Wyndham-Martin for successfully opening an office within the high-growth East Gippsland market.

“Kaye is a longtime local who has an affinity with the area, and with more than 40 years of experience in business, sales and real estate, she knows the market incredibly well,” he said.

Keating further noted that many LJ Hooker licensees opt to expand into neighbouring towns, which allows them to tap into new clients, grow their brands and boost revenue while leveraging their existing reputation and resources.

“Importantly, there are strong ties between all the offices, and this enhances our presence in this key regional market,” Keating added.

As part of this inter-office collaboration, Wyndham-Martin said that lead agent at LJ Hooker Paynesville, Lorraine Edlington, had helped to mentor agents Nick Adams and Al Orellana, who will be working at the new Lakes Entrance and Metung office.

Following the opening of her new office, Wyndham-Martin explained that she typically opts to organically grow her agencies by building strong business relationships from the outset.

She said that that was one of the reasons she welcomed Adams and Orellana to the new office, who together will look to add property management services and explore acquisition opportunities in the Lakes Entrance and Metung area.

“Our success in Paynesville reinforces that locals value the professionalism and marketing power that comes with a respected national brand like LJ Hooker,” Wyndham-Martin said.

“We are thrilled to have Nick and Al in the new office, who bring fresh enthusiasm and a strong commitment to growing our footprint in this beautiful region,” she concluded.
