Barry Plant’s brand refresh has been recognised on the global scale, rounding off an ambitious networkwide event that saw the company refresh its branding in just three months.
The Barry Plant Group’s brand refresh has received the silver prize at the WORLD Design Awards 2025, continuing the network’s momentum after it was selected as Major Network of the Year at the 2025 REB Awards held earlier this year.
The global award caps off a branding transformation that departed from Barry Plant’s traditional navy and red palette, and instead opted for a blend of cobalt and watermelon hues to complement the brand’s newly designed “open door” insignia.
Barry Plant’s marketing project manager, Kashka Hardy, said that it was “truly humbling” to see the brand’s work on a global stage as the success was the product of a networkwide collaborative effort.
“The initial logo, colour palette, and concepts were crafted by the incredible team at Watts Design, who executed our vision flawlessly,” he explained.
“From there, our internal marketing team worked tirelessly to implement the new branding across all marketing collateral – from property marketing templates to campaign artwork and office assets.”
Hardy explained that Barry Plant bolstered their internal and marketing design team to enable them to meet the design requirements and requests of the rebranding initiative, which the brand was able to complete in just three months’ time.
“The Barry Plant network was incredibly supportive of the new branding, and our priority was to provide the marketing support needed to help them embrace the changes effortlessly,” he said.
Barry Plant CEO, Lisa Pennell, said that the rebranding initiative was a “monumental task”, and credited the network’s recognition at the WORLD Design Awards to the collective efforts of the wider Barry Plant team.
“Winning silver at the Melbourne Design Awards was a huge honour, and to now receive silver at the WORLD Design Awards is beyond our expectations. It’s a testament to the hard work and dedication of the team,” Pennell concluded.
The accolade comes during a time of expansion for the wider Barry Plant network, which earlier this month welcomed Clem De Rosa as the operations and growth manager of its Mildura outpost.
