Harcourts has announced that two of its Queensland-based franchises have merged, with the team at Harcourts Unite now joining forces with Harcourts Connections.
Through the merger, the team at Harcourts Unite will now operate under the Harcourts Connections North Lakes banner, and report to the business owner and principal of Harcourts Connections, Robbie Lofaro.
While Harcourts Unite’s business owner, Tara Hawley, has handed over agency leadership to Robbie, she will continue on as office manager and licensee for the newly rebranded Harcourts Connections North Lakes office.
Similarly, former principal Steve Hawley will step down from agency leadership, and continue at Harcourts Connections as a sales agent for the North Lakes market.
Tara said the choice to join Harcourts Connections would further enhance the close-knit business that she oversaw for close to a decade.
“When we first stepped into business ownership almost 10 years ago, it was with a clear vision: to grow a team of passionate professionals who felt more like family than colleagues,” she said.
Tara shared that the resources and industry insights at Harcourts Connections under Robbie would unlock further growth opportunities for the team at Harcourts Connections North Lakes.
“Harcourts Connections was the perfect fit to continue what we’ve started with our people,” Tara said.
“Their experience and expanded resources bring exciting opportunities in market share, technology, and support for our entire team”.
Although both Tara and Steve will take a step back from daily operations, they said their new roles will enable them to devote more time to forming connections with their team and clients.
“You’ll still see us working alongside this fabulous team, now with more freedom to focus on what we love most: our people and our clients,” Steve said.
Robbie said the team at Harcourts Connections were “honoured” to be entrusted with continuing the legacy of the Harcourts Unite team.
“Tara and Steve have built an incredible foundation, and we’re excited to welcome their team into the Harcourts Connections family,” Robbie said.
“Together, we can deliver even greater value to our clients through enhanced expertise, support and innovation,” he concluded.
The new addition continues the recent growth of Harcourts Connections, which last month welcomed three new offices in Burpengary, North Lakes and Margate.
