Harcourts Queensland has appointed a new property operations manager as the network seeks to bolster team efficiency and continue to deliver positive outcomes for clients.

Harcourts Queensland has announced Michelle Rocks’ appointment as its new property operations manager, bringing over a decade of experience to the role.

The network said Rocks, who holds a bachelor of business in marketing, brings a wealth of real estate experience and expertise.

It said her skills span from negotiation abilities to sales, real estate operations, and customer relationship management.

“She has also worked extensively as a property manager and office manager, streamlining operations and ensuring a smooth day-to-day experience for both internal teams and clients,” it said.

“Michelle’s commitment to fostering psychological safety within high-performing teams is a standout feature of her leadership style, creating an empowering environment where every team member has the confidence to excel,” it added.

Rocks said her new position would entail ensuring all teams have the right tools and support to grow their businesses and thrive in their roles.

“I aim to ensure they are high-performing teams that love what they do. Harcourts has a great reputation in the industry and truly values its people,” she said.

“This role feels like the perfect blend of where I want my career to go: supporting teams, streamlining operations, and being part of a growing business.”

Head of property management, Karmen Costigan, said she is excited to have Rocks joining the network.

“Michelle’s career has been defined by her dedication to building strong relationships and cultivating team cultures that support individuals to do their very best work,” Costigan said.

Property management operations manager for Harcourts Victoria, Rachel Atkin, praised Rocks for her insight and experience, saying she would make an excellent fit at Harcourts.

“Whether in person or remotely, our work was always energising and full of ideas, with a shared focus on improving processes and systems to ensure our property management teams had everything they needed at their fingertips to be their best,” Atkin concluded.
