Harcourts has announced the opening of its newest South Australian office, Harcourts Coast & Vines, which will be led by sixth-generation Willunga local, Corey Michelmore.
Harcourts said Michelmore brings a deep connection to Willunga and its surroundings, with his family’s history in the area extending back to the 1850s when the Michelmore family began managing dairy and beef cattle farms.
By growing up on a beef cattle property in Willunga, Michelmore was able to develop the strong work ethic and in-depth area insights that have equipped him for success during his 25-year career in property sales and management.
Harcourts said Michelmore’s involvement in the Willunga community also extends beyond property, through his previous work as a committee member of the Willunga Business & Tourism Association, and continued support of various local community groups and sporting clubs.
Michelmore said the opening of the new Coast & Vines office held personal significance to him, allowing him to continue his family’s legacy in Willunga and the surrounding areas.
“Opening the Harcourts Coast & Vines office represents more than just a business venture for me; it’s about continuing my family’s legacy and serving the community I’ve always been part of,” Michelmore said.
“I’m excited to bring Harcourts’ innovative property services to Willunga and beyond, and to create meaningful connections with buyers, sellers, and property owners in the area,” he added.
Harcourts pointed to Michelmore’s industry experience and close local ties in stating he was an ideal candidate to oversee sales and property management services at the new Coast & Vines office.
With the team under Michelmore collectively boasting over 80 years of combined sales experience, and more than 40 years in property management, Harcourts said the Coast & Vines team was well-equipped to service the Willunga market.
Harcourts said the new Coast & Vines office had already received significant buyer interest, reflecting the growing interest in property within Willunga and the surrounding areas.
CEO of Harcourts South Australia, Heather Edwards, said Michelmore and his team would help to further expand the brand’s presence within regional South Australia.
“Corey’s professional approach, enthusiasm, and attention to detail ensure Harcourts Coast & Vines will deliver on our promise of exceptional service,” Edwards said.
“This new Harcourts team embodies our values, and I have no doubt [they] will contribute immensely to the local property market,” she concluded.
