A network has merged two agencies under its banner to serve the expanding southwest Sydney market ahead of the opening of Western Sydney International Airport next year.
The newly formed LJ Hooker United Group will operate across three locations in the Macarthur region and will be led by director Alejandra De Maria and co-directors Michael Montes de Oca and Mitchell Crawford.
LJ Hooker head of network Australia, Chris Keating, said the offices would leverage the network's knowledge of the area as the region is tipped to boom due to infrastructure developments.
With the opening of Western Sydney International Airport in 2026, as well as the expansion of the Metro line, the region has been gaining interest from owner-occupiers, first home buyers, as well as investors.
Keating said the new directors would guide the offices as the network aims to play a greater role in the growing market in Sydney’s west.
“Alejandra, Michael and Mitchell are experienced operators in Sydney’s southwest with detailed market insights who are ready to grow their business.”
De Maria said the networks’ training and support were key factors in the decision to move the former Wiseberry and United Realty offices into the LJ Hooker network.
“It was time to make a change, and LJ Hooker aligns with our values of integrity, professionalism and a genuine commitment to service,” De Maria said.
“After meeting LJ Hooker, we knew that this was the right choice.”
De Maria said the offices would continue to focus on delivering a ‘people-first’ approach to real estate.
“We understand that every property, every client and every journey is different, and we tailor our service to reflect that.”
“The strength of the LJ Hooker brand will give our clients the confidence to work with a team that truly knows the market and, importantly, cares,” she concluded.
