A specially built charity home in Mount Barker will be auctioned with no reserve, with all proceeds supporting South Australian children who are sick, disadvantaged, or living with disabilities.

A real estate network will auction a specially built South Australian charity home with no reserve, with all proceeds supporting children who are sick, disadvantaged, or living with a disability.

Century 21 will host an auction next month to support children’s charity Variety SA, which helps kids who are sick, disadvantaged, or living with disabilities by providing their families with financial support.

All proceeds from the auction will go to the charity, which aims to make a difference by providing families with the necessary funds for wheelchairs, specialist equipment, therapy, and medical supplies.

The Amelie house, built in memory of Amelie Belperio, who lost her life at the age of three, will be auctioned with no reserve in Mount Barker on Friday, 21 November.

The network said the home includes light-filled open spaces, and features a stone-benchtopped kitchen and butler's pantry, as well as living, dining, and alfresco areas.

“The ground floor includes a private guest suite, while upstairs reveals a serene master retreat, two additional bedrooms, and a cosy living zone,” Century 21 said.

“With a tranquil balcony, double garage, and low-maintenance courtyard, this home perfectly balances elegance with everyday ease.”

In total, more than 30 South Australian businesses and individuals came together to build the double-storey family home, with all proceeds benefiting Variety SA to support struggling families.

Well-known real estate coach and auctioneer Tom Panos will lead the auction, with listeners across the state able to tune in on radio station FIVEAA.

Century 21 said that in addition to owning the home with no reserve, the successful bidder will also receive a suite of bonus inclusions such as purchaser conveyancing services, a children's custom playhouse, and lawn care for 12 months.

According to principal at Century 21 Property People, Greg Nybo, the no-reserve model of the auction meant anyone had the chance to walk away with the keys.

"It's the ultimate win-win, a dream home for the buyer, and life-changing funds raised for Variety SA,” he said.

The land for the property, valued at $470,000, was donated by Joe Belperio, Amelie’s father, owner and director of Emerald Way Mount Barker.

"This moment is the culmination of immense generosity, passion, and community spirit," he said.

"What began as a tribute to our daughter has grown into something that will help children across South Australia for years to come.”

Meanwhile, all construction and landscaping costs, valued at $750,000, were donated by local family business Urban Edge SA, in a bid to give back to the community.

Managing director of Urban Edge SA, Ameen Farah, said the business was proud to donate the home to support children in need and make a positive difference in people’s lives.

"I'm a dad with three young kids, this cause is extremely close to my heart, and I'm so excited to see what the money raised will do to help the kids and families that need it the most," he said.

Variety SA CEO Mark McGill said that the charity home was a symbol of the power of working together.

“We're truly humbled by the generosity shown and the difference it will make for South Australian families in need,” he concluded.
