A real estate network has expanded its Melbourne commercial operations through the acquisition of a boutique agency, integrating teams to strengthen local expertise and client services.

Belle Property Commercial has announced the acquisition of Axis Property, marking a strategic expansion of its commercial property services across Melbourne.

The acquisition, which started on 5 November, saw Axis Property integrating its portfolio and client relationships into Belle Property Commercial’s operations.

The merged agency will continue to be led by Belle Property Commercial principal directors Charles Carty and Nick Mavrodglos from its new office in South Melbourne.

While Axis Property’s former owner, Daniel Liberman, has transitioned out of ownership, he will remain a business consultant, focusing on sales, leasing projects and maintaining client relationships.

Mavrodglos said that, with Liberman’s continued support, the agency will continue to strive and ensure continuity for clients while enhancing its capabilities in the commercial property market.

Meanwhile, Carty said that Axis Property will be an asset to Belle Property Commercial, having been a respected agency in a similar market.

“By bringing the two teams together, we can continue to expand and strengthen our presence in the area, offering clients unparalleled service and local market expertise,” he concluded.

The acquisition followed Belle Property Lane Cove, Hunters Hill, Willoughby, and Lindfield partnering to acquire Belle Property Ryde last month, as they aim to expand their reach and strengthen their skill set.
