LJ Hooker has strengthened its reach in the Central Queensland market, with a rebranded agency joining the network following a decade of local operation.

Queensland real estate agency Professionals Gladstone has rebranded to LJ Hooker in a major move that will broaden its reach across the state’s coast.

Former Professionals Gladstone co-owners, Ron English and Lissa Holgate, have joined the network with their team, as the decision would help advance their careers and the agency's reach.

According to English, becoming part of LJ Hooker has boosted their team’s capabilities, enabling access to a large suite of tools, technology, training, marketing and support.

He also said the larger network’s values aligned with their own principles, including service, accountability and growth.

“It’s about enhancing what we already do so well – serving our community with integrity and energy – but now with the power of a name that’s been synonymous with trust and innovation for nearly a century,” he said.

LJ head of network Australia, Chris Keating, said English and Holgate will be assets to the network, bringing an experienced team with knowledge of the local market.

LJ Hooker's head of growth, Jarita Rayasam, said that with momentum building across regional Australia, Gladstone is set for continued growth.

“It’s fantastic to see experienced leaders like Ron and Lissa channel their local insight and ambition into a future-focused partnership with LJ Hooker,” she said.

Holgate said that their clients included a range of demographics, such as families relocating for coastal living, professionals working on industry projects and investors.

“Yet, despite that growth, we maintain a tight-knit, down-to-earth culture. Our team lives and breathes this region – from sunrise walks on Tannum Beach to fishing the Boyne River – and we bring that same grounded, community-first approach to everything we do,” she concluded.
