A network has announced the opening of a new office in Melbourne’s south-east as the brand seeks to expand its services in the city’s outer ring suburbs.
The new McGrath Keysborough office, based 30 kilometres south-east of the Melbourne CBD, will be led by principals Leonard Widjaja, Ruby Vo, and Laura Voinea.
The trio brings a combined 37 years of industry experience to the new office.
Voinea said the Keysborough office would leverage the experience and local connections of its principals to serve the region’s diverse client base.
“What truly sets us apart is that we’re genuine locals living, working, and raising our families right here in the community,” Voinea said.
“Our kids attend the local schools, and we’re actively involved in a wide range of community activities.”
Vo, who has 16 years of experience selling in the Keysborough market, said the suburb is known for a family-friendly lifestyle that balances suburban calm with urban convenience.
“The mix of established homes and modern housing developments attracts a broad demographic from first-home buyers to young families through to downsizers,” Vo said.
Widjaja said the families make up a strong segment of the market, with freestanding three- and four-bedroom houses the property of choice for buyers in the area.
“It’s an area people move into and rarely move from,” Widjaja said.
“Families tend to settle here long-term, which speaks to the strength of the community, lifestyle offering and the ongoing demand for quality homes.”
“Keysborough’s appeal is supported by ongoing investment in infrastructure and the revitalisation of retail and leisure precincts.”
In addition to the three new principals, David Kouch will manage the property management division and will bring a focus on rent roll growth to the role.
McGrath head of franchise, Chris Mourd, said the opening of a new office in the Keysborough region was key to serving Melbourne’s high-growth corridor, while also creating a gateway to the Mornington Peninsula.
“The evolution of Keysborough from an industrial hub to mixed-use with significant residential development has driven demand for McGrath to provide a premium brand solution in the area,” Mourd concluded.
