A new appointment to the property platform FOUNDIT will use strong negotiation skills and strategic thinking to oversee the company’s national buyer’s agent capabilities.

FOUNDIT has appointed Thomas Georgiou as founding partner and national head of buyer’s agent services, bringing more than two decades of industry experience to the firm.

The platform said Georgiou had previously worked as a buyer’s agent in Dubai, London, and Melbourne, representing buyers under diverse market conditions.

In addition, it said Georgiou had earned a reputation for strategic thinking and disciplined negotiation, which he will draw on in his new role, along with his industry knowledge and leadership skills.

In the position, Georgiou will oversee the platform’s national buyer’s agent services, support partner buyer’s agents, set best-practice frameworks, and ensure consistently high standards of service.

He will also lead the development of education and training initiatives to support the next generation of buyer’s agents and elevate the industry capability.

FOUNDIT co-founder Joel Tomaino said Georgiou was an experienced buyer’s agent with a proven track record in the industry.

“His 22 years of experience give him a rare perspective on what buyers truly need, and his leadership will play a critical role as we continue to scale our platform and our buyer’s agents’ businesses nationally,” he said.

Tomaino said Georgiou’s appointment will be an asset to the platform as it works to deliver on its long-term vision for professional excellence.

Georgiou said he was ready to contribute as a Founding Partner and to lead the agency’s development.

“After more than two decades in buyer advocacy, I’ve seen how important experience, structure, and education are in delivering consistent outcomes for clients,” he said.

“FOUNDIT is building a platform that genuinely supports buyers and buyer’s agents through technology, insight, and collaboration,” he concluded.
