A seasoned agent has taken the next step in his career, becoming an equity partner at an agency in Sydney’s eastern suburbs a year after joining the group.

Highland Double Bay Malouf has appointed Sam Schumann as equity partner, leveraging his decade of experience in the industry within the ownership ranks.

The announcement came 12 months after Schumann joined the group as a sales specialist alongside his mother and business partner, Jane.

The network said Schumann brought expertise across residential sales, client relationship management, and business development.

According to CEO David Highland, Schumann had been an asset to the business over the past year, particularly his strategic approach and drive for achieving outcomes.

Similarly, Highland Double Bay Malouf directors, Bill and David Malouf, said that Schumann reflected the standard of excellence the team aimed to represent.

“His ability to combine strategic insight with a highly personalised approach adds significant value to both our clients and our brand,” David Malouf said.

Schumann said that he intended for the partnership to be built on relationships, commitment, and shared values.

“Becoming a partner with Highland Double Bay Malouf is both an honour and a responsibility,” he said.

According to Highland, the appointment reflected the agency’s ongoing commitment to attracting top talent and delivering solid results for clients.

The news came after the agency unveiled its new headquarters in Double Bay, with the purpose-built environment combining its sales, property management, and marketing divisions.
