Office goes interstate to tap into ‘lucrative lead-generating platform’

A Brisbane agency is making a trip to Sydney where it has made plans to get in front of 15,000 qualified leads.

RE/MAX Advantage has targeted the Sydney Property Buyer Expo as a “lucrative lead-generating platform” and will be manning a stand when the event opens on 30 October.

Owner Tandi Gill and sales associate Reno Muscat will be offering nine complexes in the Brisbane suburbs of Wynnum and Manly, including off-the-plan and first-time release stock.

Mr Muscat told REB that the expo was a far better marketing opportunity than an open home.

“A typical open home would generate 20 or 30 leads. Expo organisers expect more than 15,000 [people] to attend over the three days,” he said.

“People attending have paid for their ticket and are there for a reason – either to buy or to gather information about buying – so I regard them as qualified leads.”

Ms Gill said one in three of the investor enquiries received by RE/MAX Advantage come from Sydney and Melbourne residents.

“We were invited to participate in the expo because our stock’s appeal to southern investors excited the expo organisers,” she said.

“Based on location, price, quality and return on investment, Wynnum-Manly may compete favourably with markets like Sydney’s Sans Souci and Botany, and Melbourne’s Williamstown and St Kilda, for example.”

The RE/MAX Advantage stand will also be manned by a broker from partner company Australian Property Finance.
