Property management veteran Alistair Shearer has made a high-profile move to Belle Property Mornington | Mount Eliza, taking the helm as head of property management and joining as an equity partner.
With more than 20 years of experience leading top-performing teams across Victoria and Tasmania, Shearer is known for transforming property management operations through structure, accountability, and data-driven performance.
It is believed the appointment signals Belle Property’s ambition to build a market-leading property management division in one of Victoria’s fastest-growing coastal markets.
Shearer’s career has included mentoring franchise owners and property management teams across Australia and New Zealand, with a focus on compliance, operational efficiency, and client experience.
Returning to his roots, he credits the Mornington Peninsula’s local talent, team culture, and sustainable growth strategy for drawing him back.
“High-performing property management businesses are built on structure, accountability and data,” Shearer said.
“Sustainable growth comes from strong systems, disciplined leadership, and a culture that supports performance at every level.”
In his new role, Shearer will prioritise refining processes in vacancy management, arrears control, reporting, and client communication while investing in training and leadership to drive long-term performance.
Principal Brett Trebilcock said Shearer’s appointment marked a significant milestone for the office.
“Alistair brings exceptional experience, commercial insight and leadership capability. His focus on structure, performance and culture aligns perfectly with our vision and our commitment to delivering a premium, professional property management experience across the Peninsula.”
The move underscores Belle Property Mornington | Mount Eliza’s strategy to strengthen leadership, operational capability, and client outcomes, positioning the office as a standout in a competitive market.
It comes just a week after Belle Property announced the opening of its Bulimba office in Brisbane’s inner east, led by Kaylee Doyle, bringing more than a decade of industry experience.
The network said that Doyle, who has spent nine years with Belle, was well regarded for her determination, trusted client relationships and deep connection to the Bulimba community.
Head of state for Belle Property Queensland, David Holmes, said Doyle was an agent known for her deep local insight, solid results and genuine care for her clients.
“Bulimba is one of Brisbane’s most sought-after suburbs, and having Kaylee lead this new office gives us an outstanding foundation to grow and support this thriving market,” he said.
