A new office will provide residential and commercial property services across Sydney’s north-west, addressing rising demand from local buyers, investors, and businesses.
Laing+Simmons has opened a new office in Sydney’s north-west under seasoned principal and agent Nitin Puri, to cater for a range of local buyers.
The Oakville and Windsor agency will provide services across Bligh Park, Pitt Town, Pitt Town Bottoms, Maraylya, Oakville, Windsor, and South Windsor.
The network said that in addition to residential services, the new agency will offer commercial property services to local people and businesses, as demand from commercial occupiers has been surging in the region.
Laing+Simmons head of people and growth, Jacqui Barnes, said Puri and his team were aligned with the business’s people-first brand and values, and brought a commitment to long-term growth.
Puri said the local area was suited to owner-occupiers who prioritised space and lifestyle, with plenty of options for first-home buyers and larger homes for upgraders.
“We are even seeing investors increasingly attracted to the area, with rental returns at the point where people can secure neutrally-geared investment opportunities.”
Additionally, Puri said that recent rezonings had paved the way for a rise in off-the-plan development opportunities, house-and-land packages, and land sales.
“New developments are nevertheless predominantly low density, in keeping with the dominant freestanding housing typology which characterises the area.”
The network said Puri was in discussions with local agents and property managers to grow the team while aiming to build a culture that puts people first.
“More than ever, real estate is a people business. We can never lose sight of this truth, particularly as we navigate the changing local market,” Puri said.
“This is what makes the Laing+Simmons brand the ideal partner for us, as we look to grow and cement a leading position at this exciting time for the local market.”
According to Barnes, the Oakville and Windsor agency marked the first of several office openings for 2026, with Laing+Simmons planning to open two more next month.
“We are excited to see the Laing+Simmons brand and value proposition continue to resonate with high-profile and high-calibre local experts in different markets, and we look forward to another year of strong network growth in 2026,” she concluded.
