Rolled out across Australia and New Zealand, the “cutting-edge technology” has been touted as allowing agents to remain competitive in an increasingly digital age.

As the world, and subsequently the real estate sectors, shifts towards digitalisation, the new software will offer ANZ real estate agents “a free listing description for any property”.

Described as “quickly becoming an invaluable asset to the real estate sector”, artificial intelligence technology possesses the capacity to automate certain processes and streamline operations.

According to a statement from @realty, its AI offering ultimately saves agents’ time, money, and resources by automatically creating listing descriptions that more effectively highlight a property’s best features.

JJ Taylor, the director of @realty, stated: “As a company, we are always looking for new ways to innovate and stay ahead of the competition.

“Our free listing description AI tool is a prime example of our commitment to bringing cutting-edge technology to agents in Australia and New Zealand.”

He expressed his belief the technology will provide @realty agents with “an edge on their competition by automatically generating realistic listing descriptions for their target customers”.

He highlighted that “this is just the beginning” of the company’s plans to assist agents via the AI avenue.

Mr Taylor also illuminated other benefits of AI, which include the potential to “better identify potential leads and make more informed decisions about their target market” before noting its capability to gain insight into buyer behaviour, allowing agents to better understand their customers’ needs.

AI is rapidly gaining traction in real estate.

In an exclusive sit down with REB last February, MRI Software’s chief product officer Saurabh Abhyankar and APAC vice-president of product Mark Cohen said the real estate industry would be “archaic” if it failed to adopt AI solutions in line with the rest of global industries.

“People wouldn’t want to work in it — and people wouldn’t want to interact with it, except for [if] they really had to,” Mr Abhyankar said.

@realty joins a host of real estate companies adopting AI solutions into their operations, including Propic, Proptech group, and Jellis Craig.
