Demand growing for third-party perspectives

Despite only beginning her own business four months ago, this director has already seen strong demand for “services built by industry, for industry”.

Kylie Walsh, the founder and director behind RE Growth, has revealed to REB a number of key areas in which Australian real estate businesses are seeking out help and guidance as she increases her own team’s size in response.

“Agencies are inherently looking for third-party perspective, or an extra pair of hands for key projects,” she acknowledged.

And it’s not restricted by their scope either, with Ms Walsh receiving requests “from market-leading boutique offices in Mornington Peninsula to large franchise groups in inner Brisbane” alike.

She’s flagged five key services as already among her most commonly fielded enquiries.

They are creative marketing, customer experience reporting and benchmarking, efficiency health checks, high-performance coaching and development, and divestment and succession services.

Those same five things should be the focus of any agency in 2021, according to Ms Walsh, despite her brand-new team member, Lauren Kirk, also acknowledging that “in the consultancy space, one thing is clearer than ever — and that is a one-size-fits-all approach just does not work”.

In a bid to better service the industry, Ms Walsh has welcomed Ms Kirk into the role of associate director at RE Growth.

“I am absolutely thrilled to announce the appointment of Lauren Kirk as associate director, joining creative powerhouse Aleesha Phillips and customer experience specialist Millie Bone,” she said.

According to the founder, her new-look team of four “has been strategically built out in response to the feedback and demand I’ve seen since announcing RE Growth’s bespoke offering to the industry”.

Ms Kirk joins RE Growth after 18 years of experience in the profession, in which time she owned and operated her own agency.

She commented: “As a coach and consultant, I will be laser-focused on driving accountability, productivity and meaningful challenges — a trifecta that will lead individuals, teams and businesses to unstoppable success.

“I am thrilled to take on this position and work alongside new, emerging and top-performing teams across a range of marketplaces.”
