A longstanding real estate agency in Sydney’s lower North Shore region has joined forces with McGrath Estate Agents, adding trophy market specialists into the group’s ranks.

The merger between Ward Partners and McGrath Estate Agents’ Hunters Hill office brings Matthew Ward and Claire Ward into the group’s Sydney enclave.

Managing director and chief executive of the group John McGrath lauded the latest addition of “one of Sydney’s most respected prestige and waterfront property specialists” to their roster.

“They are two of the most talented real estate professionals in Sydney,” he stated.

Referring to the duo leadership’s father, David Ward, as “real estate icon”, the executive said it was “exciting to see Matt and Claire carry on their family’s proud tradition of success and excellence within our brand”.

“Alongside Tracey Dixon, John Paranchi, and their colleagues, I believe this team is a standout in the region,” Mr McGrath added.

In light of the new partnership, the Ward Partners team will work from the existing McGrath Hunters Hill office while Mr Paranchi and Mr Mulae will continue to focus on their core areas servicing Gladesville, Tennyson Point, and Putney.

Notably, the new partnership will enable McGrath’s Hunters Hill and Lane Cove offices to unite their efforts, with a heightened focus on sales in Drummoyne and the Inner West.

Additionally, it will bolster the outfits’ property management division by incorporating an additional rent-roll of 100 properties.

McGrath Hunters Hill principal Ms Dixon expressed her enthusiasm regarding the alliance, highlighting her longstanding and exceptional working relationship with Ward Partners.

“Combining our extensive local knowledge across our core suburbs and surrounds provides an incredible opportunity to service both buyers and sellers across the entire Mid North Shore region.”

Reflecting on the alignment with the McGrath brand, Mr Ward expressed his satisfaction with the strong synergy that his team and the McGrath Hunters Hill team have observed throughout his 25-year career.

“We see this as a great opportunity to add value to all our clients in providing the best service across the Mid North Shore catchments,” he stated.

Being “born and raised” in the Lower North Shore Sydney suburb of Drummoyne, Ms Ward noted they have a “strong affinity for the area”.

“Drummoyne and its surrounding areas provide enviable lifestyle opportunities with its centrality to the CBD, along with easy access to waterways.

“It offers a vast range of quality homes and apartments that we believe will gain traction in the market in the next few years,” Ms Ward added.

The merger comes at a time when the local market is “very active and prices are buoyant”, according to Ms Dixon, noting that low listing levels are contributing to the strong prices being achieved in the area.

“In the past week, we’ve transacted two properties over $10 million that also demonstrate the strength of the non-waterfront market, where out-of-area buyers are seeking luxury homes that offer a lifestyle component,” she stated.
