A young real estate agent shares his tips and tricks to achieving early success.

Maan Muhana may have only joined C21 Southwest Fairfield eight months ago, but he’s already been recognised by the Century 21 network for his dedication, proficiency and a commitment to excellence.

With a projected settlement of $300,000 GCC anticipated across quarter one 2024, Muhana has already achieved a number of accolades in an extremely short time frame, with Century 21 flagging that his “impressive trajectory shows no signs of slowing down”.

So what drives the young agent’s success?

“My mindset has always been rooted in continuous growth. Once I set and achieve a goal, I immediately set my sights on the next challenge,” he noted.

With an athletic background and a master’s degree in sports business management under his belt, Muhana has been able to rapidly apply his focus to the real estate sector.

When prompted on his personal mindset that he channels for success, Muhana detailed a number of strategies:

  • Staying true to yourself and your values. “This approach fosters trust, repeat business and positive referrals” through “prioritising long-term reputation over quick results”.
  • Remembering effective delivery. The agent stresses that “our role involves delivering both good and bad news. How we convey difficult information greatly impacts client satisfaction and trust”.
  • Avoiding distractions. “Stay focused on your goals and avoid distractions that hinder progress, recognising that they only impede success.”
  • Maintaining personal accountability. “Take ownership of your actions, time management, effort and outcomes, recognising that you are ultimately in control of your own success,” he advised.
  • Strategically planning ahead. “Maintain focus by setting daily plans, weekly goals, and scheduling tasks effectively to ensure a path to success.”

But Muhana is quick to note his success is not a solo endeavour, sharing how “with the unwavering support and guidance of my mentors, I am constantly encouraged to push boundaries, face challenges head-on, and evolve both professionally and personally”.

“Together, we chart a course for growth, tackle obstacles, and strive for excellence in every endeavour.”

This ethos and approach to business has seen Muhana recognised as rookie of the year at the Century 21 NSW Annual Awards, following on from his achievement of C21’s top salesperson in the 2023 Q4 awards.

Century 21 stated that Muhana’s success and key pointers are a testament to the unlimited possibilities that await both aspiring and present agents who are able to follow Muhana’s example and strive with utmost effort within their craft.

“We are thrilled to have Maan as part of the Century 21 family,” said James Bell, CEO of Century 21 Australasia.

“His relentless pursuit of excellence and commitment to surpassing expectations by giving 121 per cent embodies the very essence of our brand’s values. We eagerly anticipate witnessing his ongoing achievements,” Bell concluded.
