Ray White has just appointed a new national talent and leadership manager to steer its network towards excellence by replicating the habits of its highest performing agents.

Simon Power will join the network and help to implement a new benchmarking tool that the network has been working on.

For the past 18 months, Ray White has worked on its own benchmarking tool for success by analysing how its high performers act and behave.

Mr Power will support the group’s 1,000 offices across Australia and New Zealand to identify the best salespeople to service their communities.

Mr Power comes to Ray White from a general manager background where he owned two registered training organisations.

He said that he had long been a fan of the company and was excited to work with the leadership team.

“I have long been impressed by the family values at Ray White, and it has such a strong leadership bench that I am excited to work with,” Mr Power said.

Mr Power added that his focus would be on getting the best talent for the network and develop high-performing teams.

“I am here to help the network attract talent and help senior stakeholders to understand their current talent pool by way of psychometric testing, play leadership development.

“At Ray White, we are focused on developing high-performing teams across our networks.”

Mr Power said that people need to keep training and that business shouldn’t fear up-training their staff members.

“We cannot stop training and developing people for fear that they might leave,” Mr Power said. “We just have to make sure our business owners are attracting the right people to their organisations first and have the right culture to keep them.”

Ray White’s network development CEO, Andrew McCulloch, said that the leadership team was proud to have Mr Power on board to move the network forward.

“I am confident Simon will help drive the network’s high-performance agents and teams and also identify our next generation of leaders,” the development CEO said.
