A national network has appointed a new GM for a growing market to better strengthen the group in the state.

Raine & Horne has appointed James Trimble to the role of general manager in South Australia to develop the existing network and to attract new offices, salespeople and property managers.

Executive chairman of Raine & Horne Group Angus Raine said that Mr Trimble had years of international experience where he had achieved success.

“James has many years’ experience with a major real estate franchise network in the United Kingdom, where he achieved great success in development and growth,” Mr Raine said.

Mr Raine said that South Australia is currently undergoing a generational shift due to technology and Mr Trimble’s exposure to cutting-edge products will be his strength in the new role.

“James has embraced our network’s culture of innovation and has been a leading advocate for newly launched products such as Raine & Horne’s exclusive social media marketing tool, Amplify, and DigiKit, a web-based appraisal platform,” the executive chairman said.

Mr Trimble is no stranger to South Australia, as his wife hails from Adelaide. He said that he couldn’t wait to start building the brand in the market.

“There’s a great opportunity to grow the Raine & Horne brand in South Australia, building on the group’s presence that has been developed by Chris Weston and others over the past 20 years,” Mr Trimble said.

Mr Trimble added that he was excited to work with the established realtors in the brand to enhance their presence throughout the state.

“I’m delighted to be working alongside some outstanding principals to enhance brand presence in Adelaide and regional areas,” the GM said.

Mr Trimble said that there were many factors in the South Australian market that would allow a real estate business to flourish.

“With continued investments in infrastructure, higher resource prices and property affordability, there is plenty of potential for real estate businesses to flourish in the South Australian markets,” the GM said.
