The Agency recruits top performer for new Coffs Harbour office

The Agency has recruited a high-performing agent in Coffs Harbour as it extends its influence across the eastern seaboard.

The Agency has recruited experienced selling agent Philip Talbot to its ranks.

The Agency’s national director of sales, Thomas McGlynn, said that Mr Talbot delivers a unique level of service to the Coffs Harbour area.

“His approach sets him apart and he joins The Agency with an impressive nine listings and a significant pipeline over the coming weeks,” Mr McGlynn said.

“In the last two years, Philip Talbot has sold more $1 million properties than any other agent in the area, holds the record for the highest off-market sale at $1.8 million and also holds the sales record at $2 million for the northern beaches.”

Mr McGlynn said that given Sydney’s property price super cycle from 2012 to 2017, the migration to regional areas has “significantly” increased.

He said that people are attracted to the affordability and lifestyle offered by areas like the Hunter Valley, Southern Highlands, Wollongong and Coffs Harbour.

“For this reason, The Agency has focused on attracting the top talent in these areas,” Mr McGlynn said.

Mr McGlynn said that Mr Talbot holds a “very strong” reputation in the community for his honesty, integrity and results.

Mr Talbot said that he and his property partner Alexis Warncken’s approach to property was different to most other agents on the Coffs Coast.

“My background in development enables me to work from the customers’ perspective back to the vendor’s perspective, which helps when setting price guides and negotiating.
