‘Aggressive’ Coronis makes strategic area leader appointment

South East Queensland property services group Coronis has announced a new sales area leader who will support its “aggressive” growth ambitions.

Chris Rhode has been appointed to the position, following the recent promotion of Adam Empringham to sales director.

Mr Empringham said that Mr Rhode has quickly established himself as an elite agent in the Coronis network.

“In the past three years, in addition to selling, he played an instrumental role in turning Coronis North Lakes into one of the highest-performing teams in the 25-office network as the agency leader,” Mr Empringham said.

He said that multiple applicants were interviewed.

“Chris was the best suited person for the role who would add significant value to both the leadership team and his offices.

“He has proven himself to be an excellent leader and agent in his time at Coronis, and I believe he truly embodies our family values and vision for the company.

“His sense of humour, work ethic and superior communication skills have enabled him to earn the trust of his team and build an exemplary office culture, which is why he will thrive in his new role.”

Mr Rhode said that he was “extremely” proud.

“I’ve learnt a lot in the past four years, having transitioned into real estate from the travel industry with no prior experience, so I know first-hand what challenges agents are facing in the current market and, in particular, new-to-industry agents,” Mr Rhode said.

“I think Coronis is one of the only brands in the industry that is aggressively growing and consistently expanding their network, which is what attracted me to the business in the first place.”

He said that the promotion fit well with his career ambitions.

Mr Rhode said: “To be in a position now where I can make a real impact on the sales team and help drive team culture and performance is a long-term goal realised for me.

“We have a lot of support systems in place here that empower anyone to step up and create their own personal empires, so my goal within my first year is to inspire and grow the next generation of agency leaders within my offices.”
