RE/MAX Australia has recruited a specialist to its financial arm Pivotal Finance, as the group positions itself for national growth.

Finance specialist and property enthusiast Tara Lancashire has joined Pivotal Financial, the financial arm of RE/MAX Australia.

Ms Lancashire graduated in Germany with a business degree in tourism management. She also holds a diploma in finance and mortgage broking and a graduate diploma in business administration, and enrolled in the MBA program at Deakin University.

She has purchased, renovated and sold more than 10 properties around the world, in Hannover, Johannesburg, London and Brisbane.

Pivotal Financial general manager Matthew Andrews said he was pleased to have Ms Lancashire join the team.

“We welcome Tara to the Pivotal Financial team for both the breadth of her knowledge and personal experience, and true commitment to her relationship with the client,”  Mr Andrews said.

“A self-confessed perfectionist, Tara measures her success by the experience she gives her clients and what she achieves for them, and her very personable and approachable demeanour makes clients feel comfortable, confident and secure.”

Ms Lancashire said she has experience in advising people through retirement and post retirement.

“Working with seniors on their financial goals quickly fuelled a desire to work with people throughout their financial lifetime, and becoming a finance specialist with Pivotal Financial is an ideal way to achieve this,” Ms Lancashire said.

Prior to taking this position, Ms Lancashire worked in the RE/MAX network in Johannesburg.

“As well as being based in Johannesburg for five years as merchandise manager in the golf apparel industry, I sat my real estate exams and worked on the RE/MAX Fourways team in Sandton, Johannesburg, for 12 months.

“I sold a number of properties including my own, which gave me a good insight into the needs of the real estate customer.”

Ms Lancashire will work largely through Brisbane, the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast, although her services can extend interstate as needed.
