The elite in the RE/MAX sales force participated in a three-day forum of shared knowledge and experiences in Hobart this week, in an annual program of key speakers, high-achiever presentations and workshops.

The theme of the Platinum + Forum event was “THINK BIGGER – Even the best can be better”.

RE/MAX director Joel Davoren said the three days were packed with great speakers, amazing events and cultural experiences.

“Underpinning the program is a purpose of giving our top performers knowledge and strategies to grow their own businesses, and set a platform for interaction between our top performers.

“Sharing experiences and challenges is in keeping with the RE/MAX culture, and we provided a platform where this could occur more than ever before, through workshops where matters were raised and solutions found.”

Mr Davoren said the annual Platinum + Forum is provided exclusively for RE/MAX high achievers and is a “by invitation only” event.

“Last year was not the easiest year for our industry, so it was a massive achievement to be on the invitation list for this year’s event,” he said.

Forum speakers were REA Group’s Greg Braun; the former premier of Tasmania, David Bartlett; and the founder of Visual Funk, Simon Banks.

Mr Davoren said the panellists — Don Ha, from RE/MAX Revolution, and Daryn Trowbridge and Darren Lewis, from RE/MAX Regency — built on the exceptional key speaker presentations.

“Don spoke about being courageous in business and aiming for beyond what you think you can achieve. Daryn and Darren gave valuable advice on structuring a successful team.

“We produced an event to remind our high achievers that it is always possible to improve, and that the ‘best’ never stop trying.”
