Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate (BHGRE) has opened the doors to its new Sydney office, in the city’s CBD.

The move follows the new, avant-garde real estate brand’s recent grand opening of its first office at The Ponds, on 9 May.

The company’s new CEO of just three months, Michelle Delaney, said the office is a result of enthusiasm for the lifestyle real estate brand.

Interest from the industry has enabled BHGRE to develop a healthy pipeline of applications, with additional offices opening in Richmond (Victoria), Crows Nest (New South Wales) and Bella Vista (New South Wales) this month alone.

“We’re already actively working with several franchisees who are in the process of setting up their new Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate offices,” she said.

“Our exposure on the Better Homes and Gardens digital media, social network and the magazine is helping us attract people that want to work for us, so we’re able to assist new franchisees with hiring quality staff.”

As a result of the company expansion, former 2088 Realty’s Sally-Anne Lawlor has joined the brand, bringing almost 20 years of experience to the business, predominately selling residential property in Mosman, Neutral Bay and Cremorne.

“Being a household name with a vast media platform, Better Homes and Gardens will enable us to reach more people in the marketplace, which can only result in better outcomes for my clients,” Ms Lawlor said.

Also joining the central sales team is Emma Brown-Garrett, who brings 10 years of industry experience. She most recently worked at Di Jones Real Estate and is also a licensed auctioneer.

“Not only was I excited about the opportunity to work with such a recognised brand, I know that vendors and buyers too will share my excitement when they see what we have to offer. It is imperative that the client comes first, and our aim is to deliver excellent customer service all the time,” Mrs Brown-Garrett said.

The budding team will be supported by Sharon Small, who will manage the administration of the office.

Network expansion is a key focus for the company going forward, as is the development of a training platform to help new and experienced staff develop their skills.

The training framework is expected to include a mix of online tutorials, webinars and face-to-face workshops.

The company also most recently developed a proprietary CRM platform to help manage customer and property information and accelerate leads.
