With the Lower North Shore property market continuing to bounce back, a local sales team is looking to recruit more associates as a means to build on its success in the area.

LJ Hooker Avnu founding partner Adrian Bridges has confirmed he has secured Nic Christou, formerly of Breakfast Point Realty, as part of a strategy to bolster his sales team over the coming months.

“From the moment I met Nic, I knew I had to have him as part of my team,” Mr Bridges said.

“He loves solving problems, he’s nurturing with buyers and he’s keen to learn and grow.”

The newest LJ Hooker Avnu recruit comes at an opportune time for the business, with the Lower North Shore market showing strong signs of recovery.

Mr Christou has hit the ground running, working alongside Mr Bridges to nab an enviable listing — a three-bedroom, whole-floor apartment with Harbour Bridge views, going on market this week, with a price guide of $4.6 million to $5 million.

“There’s a lot of emotion involved in buying a home, and it’s the job of a great agent to help potential buyers fall in love with the property they’re selling,” Mr Christou said.

“That’s much harder when all you have is floor plans. You really have to become a storyteller, but I loved that challenge.”

Going forward, Mr Christou’s new role will see him continue to work alongside Mr Bridges and his executive assistant, Samantha Panarello.

“Adrian has been able to achieve so much in his career. I believe his negotiation skills are second to none, and I want to work with an agent that’s successful but also has a strong team,” Mr Christou said.

“When I saw how well Adrian and Sam worked together already, I had to join. Culture is really important to me and the culture in the team and at Avnu was a big driver in convincing me to join.”
