It’s been a busy period for Stone Real Estate, with a new New South Wales office and the alignment of several Queensland agents showcasing the brand’s aspirational status.

New location

The new office is Stone Real Estate’s 14th in under 10 months, and sees agents Christel Renton and Helen Hughes kicking off Stone Ettalong and Erina on New South Wales’ Central Coast.

According to a statement, Ms Renton and Ms Hughes bring almost six decades of industry experience and leadership to the brand.

Both agents previously operated as a boutique property management and sales agency.

For Ms Renton, the draw of joining Stone was the agency’s “unique, forward-thinking culture” and an online offering that’s “second to none”.

She highlighted that well before the industry changed with COVID-19, “we’d already recognised Stone’s online marketing tools and technology for clients were the most advanced and attractive available anywhere”.

“Real estate was already changing on a daily basis due to technology, client behaviours and habits and the global economy,” Ms Renton said.

“As our agency is completely online and now with what we see as the best of the best in tech, we don’t have to cancel a thing.”

For Stone Real Estate’s head of franchise, Luke Cameron, the track records of both agents have made them an “ideal” addition to Stone.

“As we continue to grow and expand in challenging times, our number one priority is to work with the best and brightest people,” Mr Cameron said.

“We couldn’t be more excited than to be working with Christel and Helen. They truly are the optimal agents in this region, held in very high regard and well known by their own communities.”

New leaders

Up in Queensland, the real estate company has welcomed two new agents to Stone Real Estate in Aspley, as well as their respective teams.

Ben Hyrapietian and Chris Bell, with their team members Miriana Taka and Louise Bell, have aligned themselves with Aspley principal Tristan Rowland, in what has been considered as a “huge accolade” for both the office and the boutique brand as a whole.

For Mr Rowland, “the opportunity to pick up such high-quality professionals is [a] testament to Stone Real Estate’s superior culture and offering compared to others”.

He said all four new members “have already had an immediate impact on the business with their own performance and culturally”.

The addition of Mr Hyrapietian and Mr Bell puts Stone Real Estate in “the box seat” of some of Brisbane’s fastest-growing markets, with the principal commenting that “we couldn’t be in a stronger position”.

A statement from Stone Real Estate outlined that the agents focus predominantly on the north Brisbane markets of Deception Bay, Burpengary and Strathpine, and will expand already in-demand client service in the growth corridor suburbs of Caboolture, Morayfied and Burpengary East.

Mr Hyrapietian credited “genuine passion and care in the way Stone operate which I have never seen anywhere else” as one of his reasons to take the plunge with the Stone brand.

“Tristan is also a phenomenal leader and I’ve wanted his kind of track record and success since I started in real estate,” he added.

For Mr Bell, Stone’s professionalism, stylish image and well-received branding were paramount in his decision to move.

“They’re not only successful but forward-thinking — and there is so much potential for further growth,” he said.

According to the head of Stone Real Estate in Queensland, Scott Kelly, the two new agents align perfectly.

“We are building a culture of excellence, typified by an unwavering commitment to grow individually, as teams and as a network,” he commented.

“This is underpinned by the quality people we have already attracted into the network and those that we are currently engaging with to join.”

He concluded: “We see our newest additions Chris and Ben as not only future leaders within Stone, but great business partners going forward.”
