Kicking off spring strongly, a real estate listings platform has revealed two new features for potential property purchasers and selling agents.

Realestateview.com.au has revealed the new features on the Buy section of the site as of 1 September 2021.

Leveraging proptech capabilities, Make an Offer was built in partnership with digital offer management facilitator Propps and allows prospective buyers to place a non-binding offer on their property of choice and have it delivered directly to the selling agent.

Apart from making it easier for buyers to submit an offer for their dream home, the Make an Offer also assists agents in receiving qualified buyer leads, according to realestateview.com.au CEO Toby Balazs.

“When approached with the opportunity to work with Propps, we jumped at the chance, [because] like us, they have big growth aspirations and value solutions that assist agents and the real estate industry as a whole,” Mr Balazs said.

Propps founder and CEO Daniel Bignold has also expressed his excitement about the partnership, touting the “core underlying agent-centric alignment” of the two businesses.

“Through this partnership we can help agents obtain a whole new level of very qualified buyer interest by tapping into the power and reach of realestateview.com.au’s large scale audience,” he said.

The second new feature, Property ReView, provides buyers with a unique selection of data and information on their dream home through an “address level property report”.

The report combines data from realestateview.com.au, CoreLogic, Good Schools, Archistar, and the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS), and can be accessed by prospective buyers who elect to provide their information on the listing page.

According to the platform, once the report is e-mailed to the prospective buyer, their information will automatically be delivered to the selling agent as a qualified lead.

“Buyers can now easily access all sorts of information on their potential new property; from suburb trends to the demography of the area to what schools are nearby and planning information,” Mr Balazs said.

And as requesting a report shows clear and genuine interest, Property ReView also provides agents with more qualified leads “from property seekers who are more likely to be in the active phase of their buying journey”, he added.

Looking ahead, realestateview.com.au has indicated that it aims to leverage these new features to further strengthen its position and continue to expand into regional centres, in partnership with Antony Catalano’s ACM.

“The impact of COVID has shown that more and more Australians are wanting to move to the regions… We believe that our new offerings will be warmly received across the market and supported by our agent partners as buyers seek to get ahead of the pack,” Mr Balazs concluded.
