Box Hill office celebrates opening in style

One of Sydney’s newest real estate offices has recorded mammoth sales to cap off its first month off in style.

LJ Hooker Box Hill only opened its doors on 1 April but has already recorded $51 million in property sales.

Tempo for the north-west Sydney office’s first month was established in its first week of operation, when seven sales of between $3.85 to $3.9 million were recorded, reported LJ Hooker. 

The new team is led by principal Ankush Kohal, a former hospitality worker who had previously worked at Ray White Kellyville. Mr Kohal has attributed the team’s early success to a tried and true sales strategy that includes age-old methods such as door-knocking and high levels of drive and determination. 

“It is very specific door-knocking because the properties are located in an area where people are keen to sell, so I approached them and then contacted a developer,” Mr Kohal said. 

“The deal was done very quickly with four selling on one day and the other three the following day.” 

In what Mr Kohal affirms is just the beginning for the office, the Box Hill outfit has achieved approximately $30 million of unconditional sales and a further $21 million in conditional sales. In addition to this, Mr Kohal has negotiated a multimillion-dollar sale of a major parcel of land in Box Hill. 

Stephen Mutton, LJ Hooker Group’s head of network performance, expressed the business’ delight in Mr Kohal and his team’s results in their first month of operations.

Mr Kohal shared that he is confident that his team, which includes his wife and partner in the business, Saruchi Sharma, is capable of continually improving their monthly sales turnover, especially with the backing of their new network.
