Following in the footsteps of two of his colleagues, a REIWA-recognised agent has made the switch to The Agency — just in time for a Christmas rush.

The Agency has lauded the alignment of Jarrod O’Neil with the business’ Perth operations, taking the lead from his former colleagues with whom he has now reunited, Jon Wood and Jason Jowett.

According to a statement from The Agency, “the trio have formed a sales powerhouse in Perth’s northern coastal suburbs, selling a combined ~$90 million in properties in the region over the past financial year, with Jarrod O’Neil personally closing over 75 sales.”

Mr O’Neill, who was recently crowned a REIWA Grand Master for 2021–2022, has been lauded as having “hit the ground running” with his new brand, having sold one property and already managing a further 11 listings across the Padbury region in just his first week.

“It’s fantastic to be working together again with Jon and Jason, who are outstanding colleagues with an unrivalled understanding of the northern coastal region,” the leading agent expressed.

“After looking at the quality of the team and receiving exceptional feedback from the guys about The Agency’s unprecedented support — with the business operating a centralised office to handle admin work rather than a series of franchises — I decided to take the leap.

“I am personally thrilled to be a part of The Agency’s Australia-wide operations, and I am even more pleased to be able to have a sale within my first week.”

“Who says you can’t sell property over the Christmas period?” he queried, revealing he has “buyers desperate for good homes, and the Perth market remains in a very good place”.

Weighing in on Mr O’Neil’s decision to join the group, The Agency general manager Stuart Cox acknowledged that he has previously worked with the top performer, stating he has “always had tremendous respect for his customer service ethics and his client-focused approach”.

“I’m rapt to be working with such a talented agent again, and with the addition of both Jon and Jason, we have an emerging centre of excellence along the northern coastal strip of Perth,” Mr Cox said.

Mr Jowett’s strength in the local marketplace has also been proven, having sold more than $7.2 million worth of property since his allegiance in late October.

Mr Cox also noted that the northern coastal region “continues to perform strongly”.

REIWA data for Padbury shows the suburb has seen a 15.7 per cent rise in sales growth, while median house prices in the area are now $683,000.

The same report showed that nearby Duncraig and Craigie also saw strong growth — of 14.9 per cent and 14.3 per cent, respectively.
