An independent agency in the Blacktown region has taken on a new name to keep up with resurgence in buyer demand in Western Sydney.

Soultani Property Group, led by principals Hash Soultani and Peter Kwaramba, will now operate under the name Raine & Horne Blacktown following their rebrand.

The shift towards operating under a national real estate network comes amid an observed surge in buyer urgency in the area, evidenced by a reported increase in attendance at open homes in the Blacktown region, where the median house price currently stands at $800,000.

Mr Soultani forecasts that first home buyers will drive the affordable Blacktown market once the Reserve Bank takes its foot off the monetary policy pedal.

“Already, we are seeing around 20 per cent  more groups at Saturday open for inspections, and there is more buyer urgency than in the last quarter of 2022.

“At the same time, vendors have more realistic sales expectations, and to my mind, this makes for a healthy and well-balanced market where the best agents will achieve the best results,” he stated.

Mr Soultani, who prides himself as a “Blacktown local through and through,” said that Raine & Horne’s technological offerings were central to their decision to switch.

“As an independent, we have been writing great numbers, including over $1 million in commissions in 2021. We have close to 120 property management after starting from scratch a year or so ago,” he stated.

He revealed that while their team was approached by several real estate groups, Raine & Horne’s “approach, value proposition and growth goals” in Western Sydney was the one that strongly resonated with them.

“Tina Ashton, the national head of growth and network manager at Raine & Horne Group, showed us where the brand wants to be in five years and intends to support younger principals like Peter and myself,” he stated.

Angus Raine, the network’s chief executive, said Mr Soultani and Mr Kwaramba alignment with the group is a testament to the brand’s reputation.

“Our ecosystem of digital firsts, such as game-changing AI and social media marketing technology Amplify, and online sales and property management appraisal platform DigitKit, are massive prospecting tools for us,” Mr Raine said.

He also highlighted that while the average age of principals who are coming into the network’s fold is around 38 years old, they “aren’t real estate greenhorns”.

“Hash, who is just 30, started his real estate career in 2011. More significantly, he has already worked for several leading real estate groups as a sales agent and sales manager and, along with Peter, is already a principal of a leading independent Soultani Property Group.

“You can’t buy experiences like this, and Peter and Hash are also incredibly motivated to take their business, Raine & Horne Blacktown, to the next level,” he concluded.
