Two new additions to MMJ Real Estate’s Melbourne outfit indicate its intentions to assist employees “achieve their professional goals and create a sustainable future for themselves and their employees”, according to their CEO.

Allison Brudenell assumes the role of managing director of MMJ Real Estate’s Melbourne office, where she has been a key figure since as a founding partner of the firm’s first Victorian office.

Network chief executive officer Chris Johnson explained Ms Brudenell’s appointment is a testament to her exceptional leadership skills and track record of success. Under her leadership, the network’s Melbourne outfit has quadrupled in size, while she’s also played a major role in delivering national outcomes for the network.

Ms Brudenell said she was “thrilled” with her new appointment, before adding: “I am proud to be part of a company that is committed to diversity, inclusivity, and delivering exceptional service to its clients.”

“I am looking forward to leading the company to new heights and building on its already impressive track record,” she said.

Her appointment sees her take over the reins from Joel Wald, allowing Mr Wald to prioritise his focus on sales, acquisitions, and leasing, where his expertise will prove continually valuable to the company, as reported by MMJ.

Joining Ms Brudenell at MMJ Real Estate’s Melbourne outfit is newly appointed senior asset manager Steven Haigh. His move has been described as a crucial step in the company’s expansion, and he will oversee the management of the company’s property portfolio.

MMJ Real Estate stated the role would free Ms Brudenell to invest her time into other aspects of the business.

“We are delighted to welcome Steven to the MMJ Real Estate team,” Ms Brudenell said, sharing that “his experience and expertise in commercial property management will be invaluable as we continue to grow and expand our operations”.

Mr Johnson expressed the belief these appointments highlight how the company’s clear professional pathways are conducive to employee retention and business prosperity.

“By providing our franchisees with the training, resources, and support they need to grow and expand their businesses, we can help them to achieve their professional goals and create a sustainable future for themselves and their employees,” he said.

He added such career development is a primary factor behind franchisees remaining with the brand long term.

“[They] become more invested in the success of the business,” he declared.

“By making a commitment to the career development and growth of our franchise network, it strengthens our brand, improves performance and profitability, and we all continue to thrive in an ever-changing business landscape.”
