LJ Hooker has celebrated a strong start to 2025, beginning the year with a brand reset and opening eight new offices across Australia and New Zealand.

The increased presence includes new offices in NSW, Queensland, Victoria and New Zealand.

LJ Hooker’s general manager of marketing, Stephan Gervois, attributed the growing number of LJ Hooker offices to the company’s brand refresh, “The Difference”, as well as its ongoing brand equity.

“The Difference is more than just a branding campaign; it is a philosophy that defines the LJ Hooker network and sets us apart,” Gervois said.

“By embracing our iconic brand and signature tricolour flag, we have crafted an unmistakable identity that stands out in the market.”

Gervois said that creating a new brand identity allows LJ Hooker’s franchisees to attract consumers who are deciding which real estate agent to entrust with their property.

“In turn, our agents will be able to better communicate how we consistently achieve the best results, how straightforward and transparent our process is, and how professional we are,” he said.

Head of growth for LJ Hooker, Jarita Rayasam, said the office openings are a testament to the franchise network’s strength and brand appeal in a competitive market.

“It’s been thrilling to work with such a committed and enthusiastic cohort of real estate agents aiming to match vendors with buyers and investors with new tenants,” said Rayasam.

“We have started 2025 with incredible momentum and energy, onboarding new franchisees, expanding offices and adding new locations to our growing network.”

Among the new leaders within the LJ Hooker network is 28-year-old Larissa Schembri, director of the new LJ Hooker Liverpool office an – expansion of LJ Hooker Bankstown | Moorebank.

“It has always been a goal of mine to have my own office as well as being a real estate agent,” Schembri said.

“I had developed a large market share in the Liverpool area, but to grow it even further, we needed to open an office to give the brand an official presence and, luckily, everyone agreed.”

In Victoria, Adam Elsherif transitioned from an independent business to launch LJ Hooker Sunbury, a move he said was driven by consumer trust in the brand.

“We had already started shifting our business to the area, with around 80 per cent of our stock in Sunbury,” he said.

“In Sunbury and surrounding areas, most home owners are familiar with the LJ Hooker name, and our own research showed people were more open to business under a rebrand than if we stayed an independent office,” Elsherif said

Rayasam said the LJ Hooker network is always ready to support agents with big aspirations.

“There’s nothing I enjoy more than working with ambitious real estate agents looking to realise their full potential,” she said.

“We have the team, the brand, and the technology to make dreams come true.”

LJ Hooker’s new offices include LJ Hooker Liverpool (NSW), LJ Hooker Mudgeeraba (Queensland), LJ Hooker Sunbury (Victoria), LJ Hooker Morayfield | Caboolture (Queensland), LJ Hooker Paynesville | Lakes Entrance | Metung (Victoria), LJ Hooker Parramatta (NSW), and two in New Zealand – LJ Hooker Pokeno in Waikato and LJ Hooker Southern Partners in Auckland.
