Focused on growth, culture and business success, the Australasian Real Estate Conference (AREC) has unveiled the line-up of speakers for its upcoming event.

The 27th annual Australasian Real Estate Conference (AREC) will host various property experts and renowned speakers over two days on Sunday, 25 May, and Monday, 26 May, at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre.

This year, the conference will focus on giving practical and tactical takeaways to help attendees create long-term industry success.

According to the head of Total Real Estate Training and AREC organiser, Izzy Savva, this year’s conference program will be enhanced by the learnings and insights from top agent performers who will share their insights and strategies for success in the property sector.

“In today’s environment, AREC is the platform to train and invest in performance, listing technique, prospecting, conversion and enhancing your personal brand,” Savva said.

She said the current industry has become more competitive than ever, which is why AREC focuses on delivering tailored content for agents, property managers and agency principals.

“Real estate professionals who invest in themselves are the ones who will most benefit in today’s market,” Savva said.

In total, more than 30 speakers will take the stage over two days.

On day one, the conference will see industry coach Josh Phegan dive into performance, recovery and lead generation, offering a practical roadmap for long-term business and life success.

David Walker from Ray White Upper North Shore will share how visionary leadership, strategic growth and a people-first culture transformed his business into a market leader, while balancing elite performance with team wellbeing and community impact.

With over 20 years of experience, Adrian Oddi, director at BresicWhitney, will discuss his client approach strategy and business model built on more than 90 per cent repeat and referral clients.

The 49th vice-president of the US, Kamala Harris, will also take the stage on day one, sharing how bold leadership, unity, and a commitment to justice and opportunity can drive meaningful change and inspire the next generation.

Additional speakers on day one are: Oliver Lavers from TRG in NSW, Lana Samuels from WHITEFOX Victoria, Josh Morrissey from Hive Property ACT, Steven Bartlett, Robin Banks, Will Guidara and Mark Mathews.

On day two, founder and CEO of The Agency and star of Netflix’s Buying Beverly Hills, Mauricio Umansky, will headline the event.

For the first time on an Australian stage, Umansky will share the recipe for building a global real estate brand, including strategic personal branding, strong leadership and forming lasting client relationships, with success driven by trust and high-performing teams.

With $88 billion in sales, 133 offices globally, and a top ranking among US real estate leaders, Umansky’s influence in the luxury market highlights his deep understanding of high-net-worth clients’ needs and the essential role of negotiation skills.

Founder and CEO of Bell Partners, Anthony Bell, will take the AREC stage on day two to discuss how agents can scale their real estate business by shifting from solo operator to team leader.

Bell will also emphasise the importance of systems and processes and adopting an entrepreneurial, CEO-level mindset for sustainable growth.

Similarly, general manager at REA Group, Tobias Johnstone, will discuss how the REA Group leverages behavioural data, content, and economic insights to empower smarter property decisions and create advanced data solutions for the real estate industry.

Founder of The Hudson Advisory Team at Compass, Clayton Orrigo, will share his blueprint for building a scaleable, sustainable real estate business, focusing on client relationships, lead generation, high-energy sales strategies, and positioning yourself as a market leader.

Olympic gold medalists Emma McKeon and Ariarne Titmus will take the stage on day two of the AREC, discussing how teamwork and support turn competition into motivation, and how blending collaboration with competitive drive leads to lasting success.

Additional keynote speakers on day two include: Tony O’Doherty from McGrath Bulimba, Edward Pack from Bayleys Auckland, The Rising Stars Panel with Jordan Bulmer from McGrath Terrigal, Monique Layoun from McGrath Blacktown, Tia Milne from O’Brien Real Estate Frankston, Tim Grover, and Coyne.
