McGrath Estate Agents has opened a new office in Merimbula, on NSW’s South Coast, strengthening its regional footprint to service a diverse demographic.
McGrath Merimbula has opened on NSW’s Sapphire Coast as the network seeks to extend its presence in the region and continue to deliver high-quality services.
The office will be led by principal Trent Pool, bringing 20 years of experience in the real estate industry and 14 years in the area.
McGrath Merimbula will service the area from Bega to Wandella in the north and from Eden to Nadgee in the south, and from Merimbula on the coast to Rocky Hall in the west.
McGrath’s head of franchise, Chris Mourd, said the new office would help further the network’s regional footprint.
“The natural beauty of the Sapphire Coast draws a diverse demographic that sees the long-term benefit of investing in such a sought-after lifestyle area,” he said.
“Coastal property is a finite resource and buyers, both investors and owner-occupiers, are recognising its intrinsic value.”
Pool said Merimbula and the surrounding areas would provide significant potential for the network.
“Merimbula and its surrounding region offer one of the most unique and valuable lifestyle propositions on the east coast,” he said.
“This is a market where quality of life meets smart investment.”
The diverse buyer demographic includes sea changers from Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne, such as early retirees and remote workers.
Additionally, the demographic also includes local upsizers and downsizers, particularly in Tura Beach and Merimbula.
McGrath said Pool’s client base also consists of investors and holiday-home buyers seeking to take advantage of the region’s tourism appeal and short-stay market.
In addition, a growing number of young families are flocking to the Sapphire Coast, attracted to lifestyle factors and improvements in infrastructure.
Pool said the local market is perfect for delivering on McGrath’s ambitions for growth and exceptional services.
“Merimbula offers consistent sales activity, growing buyer interest from metropolitan and regional tree and sea changers, and a limited housing supply which drives competition and price stability,” Pool said.
“With McGrath, we are positioned to further elevate service standards and capitalise on our national brand presence in a tightly held, relationship-driven community.”
“The market is ideal for our model: high-quality marketing, premium buyer engagement, and a values-driven approach to client outcomes. This gives us a unique competitive edge to grow market share,” Pool concluded.
